This past week, members from our Thursday Project took part in a walk around the Chard Reservoir Nature Reserve.
Due to the ongoing pandemic, our usual Thursday Project (which normally takes place at Chard Rugby Club) has been closed since late March. Although during that time, our members have continued to stay in touch over Zoom, the nature walk was the first opportunity for us to meet in person in over 6 months.
Despite the gloomy weather, everyone thoroughly enjoyed the day and got a great deal from connecting with nature and each other.
Huge thanks to Verity from Blackdown Hills AONB, who acted as our guide. With her help, we plan to make these hugely successful walks a monthly event.
