One of our long-time members at the Thursday Project, Joan Power, has recently been wowing us all with her fantastic poetry.
Kevin, who is both Honorary Treasurer of Watch and a volunteer in our office, was so inspired by one of Joan’s recent verses about her experience in lockdown, that, with her kind permission, he put her words to music.
I’m sure you’ll agree, the results are quite fantastic.
Lyrics by Joan Power, music and vocals by Kevin Townsend and images from Alan Williams (who, once upon a time, was a regular in the Watch kitchen) A true Thursday Project collaboration!
