A big thank you to Wessex Water community fund and Somerset Community Foundation, due to their funding we have been able to deliver our new Co-Facilitator Training.
The training consists of two workshops followed by 12 mentoring sessions where learners can develop their skills and have a go at Co-Facilitating in a safe and supportive environment, where they learn about the role and how peer support and their own lived experience enhances their skills set.
The workshops got off to a fantastic start with learners engaging in a range of activities to build confidence and knowledge. 12 monthly mentoring sessions will follow, and these will give the learners a greater understanding of WATCH CIC courses and give an opportunity to shadow current facilitators.
