Ella’s Skills for the Workplace experience

On July the 22nd, Ella, who recently signed up to WATCH’s 10 week ‘Skills for the Workplace’ programme, completed a tour of Lentells, the accountancy firm.

Following her enrolment in the programme, we sat down with Ella and, after an informal chat, identified the skills that she might need in order to reach her goal of attaining employment in bookkeeping.

Ella then spent a short spell in our own WATCH office, during which she gained some valuable finance and general admin experience. Later, we reached out to Lentells and arranged for Ella to visit their premises. Whilst there, she learnt about the business and met with one of the company’s directors. Ella’s energy and boundless enthusiasm shone through – so much so, that she was offered a work experience placement at Lentells, which she will be starting at the end of summer!

Everyone at WATCH would like to congratulate Ella on her amazing progress, and wish her the best of luck as she continues on her journey towards employment in her chosen area.

We’d also like to thank Lentells for being so welcoming, and allowing Ella the opportunity to gain valuable, work-related skills.
