When people with shared experiences support each other, everyone benefits. This programme gives people the skills, support, and confidence to do just that.
For anyone: With lived experience of mental health challenges who wants to support others, or somebody moving into a peer support role or already in a paid/voluntary peer role.
By the end of the course you will: • Have essential peer support skills • Know how to reflect safely on your own experiences • Explore your next steps • Have 1:1 support followed by group peer support for one year once the course is complete.
Please note: Courses are free for Somerset residents. Outside of county, admin fee applies – please enquire.
