Each week WATCH hosts a Learning Pathways forum with a different theme each week focused towards learning new skills. So far these have included horticulture, the reader, astronomy, card readings, reflexology, incense, art, music, history of Somerset, barriers to learning, coping with lockdown and coming out of lockdown to name a few. Since starting the forum we’ve had 19 distinct learners attend joining regularly online.
The team aims to make the sessions as engaging as possible using anagrams, riddles, and spot the difference. On top of this, some weeks guest speakers are invited to come and talk, examples include speakers from Somerset Recovery College, The Reader, Citizens Advice Bureau to name a few
