Mental Health Awareness Week – Day Five: Keep Learning

Over the course of Mental Health Awareness Week, (May 10th – 16th) we hope to share with you how the Watch Project incorporates the ‘5 Ways to Wellbeing’ – 5 key actions which have a positive effect on your mental health – and how connecting with nature during this last year has been so important for us all.

Day Five – Keep Learning

At the Watch project we are so fortunate to be able collaborate with other organisations to provide a wealth of learning opportunities for our members. Whether it be working outside on a countryside management course or growing crops and tending livestock at Ark at Egwood, we believe that there is something out there to suit everyone.

Watch Project, Pathways to Learning – On National reflection day, we reflected on positives and in particular, the benefits to Nature during lockdown. We also participated in the big birdwatch where we all learnt interesting facts from each other. We focussed on recycling and reusing materials to support wildlife too and I showed objects from our garden.
