Thanks to the combined efforts of members and Crewkerne Sculptor Richard Langford, the project has completed another Mosaic. And as you can see, the result is so impressive, if it weren’t already promised to Chard Hospital, we’d stick it to the Youth Club fridge with magnets.
Feedback from the Somerset Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (who covered the cost) has been extremely positive, and everyone agrees it captures the “Chard and the community” theme well.
Some people were seen excusing themselves to the bathroom at it’s reveal on Thursday, under the guise of drinking too much tea, but hankies were raised to eye level as they made their way there – it’s that beautiful.
Please note, that members of the project are not currently taking autograph requests at this time (they’re in it for the art, not the fame), but we will let you know when the Mosaic is made public at the Chard Hospital entrance soon.
