Recently, our very own Julie Matthews took part in a discussion about the WATCH Project that was hosted by Wendy Rudd and live streamed on the Talking Cafe Facebook page.
At the end of the broadcast, Wendy recited a poem that she’d written about WATCH. We thought it was brilliant and wanted to share it with you all. So, here it is!
Are you having a very tough time?
There’s a Project that can help you shine
This help is there, waiting just for you
So your depression, you can break through
Break isolation and make a friend
On peer support you can depend
Those dark clouds, they will come and go
But you have strength inside, you know?
Within is your own inner blue sky
So, come on and join. Don’t be shy
That battle with depression can be won yet
There’s help available in all of Somerset
