Last weekend, Samantha and Peer Champion, Richard, from WATCH were proud to join Chard Branch – The Royal British Legion and a host of other local organisations at the Guildhall for the launch of the 2024 Poppy Appeal!
There were Girl Guides, Cadets, militaria from both WW1 and WW2 and even an indoor range to practice your aim. Samantha, our Pathways to Partnership Project Manager, couldn’t resist a selfie with The Royal British Legion Riders, who showed up with a cavalcade of bikes!
During the course of the day, a total of £1200 was collected to support the Armed Forces Community – an amazing way to kick-off this years fundraising!
