On the 28th May, Chard’s Annual Town Meeting took place at the Guildhall. WATCH staff, Gabrielle and Julie, attended and were very grateful to be presented with a cheque for a magnificent £451.75!
WATCH was lucky enough to be picked as one of the The Mayor of Chard‘s chosen charities, and the money was raised by fundraisers and events organised by Chard Town Council over the course of the year.
Everyone at WATCH would like to extend a huge ‘thank you’ to all involved for their continued support. The kind donation will help towards a travel fund which will enable isolated individuals in Chard to access events and activities in the wider community.
