Cinechard are a local charity who regularly screen films for public viewing on a big screen in Chard’s Guildhall. Throughout the year, they gather funds in anticipation of being able to hold an annual Christmas Movie event. Unfortunately, due to Covid-19 restrictions, Cinechard were unable to put on their festive event this year.
As such, they decided to split their funds equally and donate them to a number of local charities. WATCH was lucky enough to be one of the recipients of a £500 donation.
We cannot express how grateful we are to be on the receiving end of such thoughtfulness and generosity. From everyone at WATCH, we’re truly thankful, and we all sincerely hope that Cinechard are able to hold their fantastic Christmas extravaganza in 2021!
