WATCH Project Receives Grant from Golsoncott Foundation

Exciting News!

We have just received a grant of £250 from the Golsoncott Foundation to produce a new piece of art work for our members.

Watch members and volunteers are delighted to receive this grant from the Golsoncott Foundation which gives WATCH Project  members the chance to create something from their own ideas. Which in turn helps raise their self esteem.

Golsongott Foundation provides a grant to the WATCH ProjectThe Golsoncott Foundation was established as a Charitable Trust in July 1998 from the estate of the artist and sculptor Rachel Reckitt (1908-1995). An arts-funding trust, its declared object is … to promote, maintain, improve and advance the education of the public in the arts generally and in particular … the fine arts and music.

The trustees’ overriding concern is to support those projects that demonstrate and deliver excellence in the arts, be it in performance, exhibition, artistic craft, or scholarly endeavour. You can find out more about the Golsoncott Foundation at http://www.golsoncott.org.uk
